Wilderness Awareness Overnight Camps
Ages 11-14, 5-night overnights at our land in the Cascade
foothills near Duvall, WA. $635

Overnight camps give students exciting camping experiences while learning in-depth skills of survival and nature awareness. They are filled with adventure and surrounded by the beauty and comfort of a private basecamp in the forested foothills of the Cascades.
Survival Skills Overnight
This five-night overnight camp is focused on learning the basics of wilderness survival skills, while practicing them daily. Students will have the opportunity to learn in-depth fire making and carving skills, and create their own primitive fire kit, and spoon or bowl to take home! Natural shelters will be constructed and used for sleeping during the week. In addition, different methods of cooking without modern facilities will be explored. Knife safety and sharpening will be taught as part of this class.
Scout Awareness Overnight
A five-night overnight camp devoted to developing the awareness of ancient scouts of many cultures who were incredibly connected with the natural world. Through tracking field adventures and challenges, we learn details about animals‘ lives when we are unable to see them in person. We will also enter the world of “bird language” and quiet movement, enabling students to see more wildlife and know when predators are around. Many sensory awareness challenges will be offered, and you will likely never look at nature the same way again!
